Mt.Carmel Winter Ale Review
Being a guy who enjoys trying new types of beer (like most of us), I was enthusiastic to try Mt. Carmel Brewery's Winter Ale last weekend when it was presented to me. Mt. Carmel Brewing Company is a local brewing company that is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is always kinda cool to try a local beer in my opinion. My first initial thought as the beer hit my taste buds was how much of a spice it had and at the same time the spice I was experiencing was relieved by a cool caramel taste, making the beer become a tasty treat. Generally I am a lager beer fan, but the Mt. Carmel Winter Ale taste beat almost all of the lager beers I have tried in the past.
Mt. Carmel Winter Ale is defiantly a beer that would best be enjoyed during the colder nights of the year because of how thick of a beer it is, which surprised me. Also, with 8% ABV it packs quite the punch and is certain to warm oneself. Mt. Carmel Winter Ale is the perfect beer to go along side with a burger, steak, or any other manly meal.
Of the many beers I have tried over the years, this beer is defiantly on my top 10 list and the only ale I really truly enjoy. The rating I give Mt. Carmel Winter Ale is an 8 out of 10. Like I said, this beer is a local Cincinnati beer and can only be found in the Cincinnati area.
Below is a link to their website, so you all can check out their other beers:
